Central Kerala Sahodaya complex is the official organ of CBSE Schools in Central Kerala, vis-à-vis Ernakulam and Idukki civil districts. Presently there are 81 schools associated with CKSC. CBSE insists that all schools take membership in a Sahodaya.

There are many activities like Training Workshops for Senior Secondary and Secondary and KG Teachers, School Quality Assessment & Accreditation Workshops, Student Leadership Camps, Inter- School Kalotsav, Inter School Sports Meet, Inter School Games- such as Football, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Throw Ball, Kho-Kho and Badminton. It is proposed to conduct Cricket in association with KCA this year. Besides we set Common Timetable- SA I & SA II and prepare Model Question papers for all subjects in XII and SA Question papers for Malayalam in IX & X.

We honour Regional Toppers of AISSCE every year. Personality development progammes and value education and life-skills programme for students and educators are organized from time to time..

Executive consisting of President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary and the Treasurer takes care of the day-today functioning of the CKSC.
